Richard Jones "Cosmic Constellation" #2

Richard started painting with oils in 1965 but let it lapse as he became more involved in publishing and then politics. He was a Member of the NSW Legislative Council for fifteen years as a Democrat and then an Independent. Concern for the environment propelled him into politics and into founding Greenpeace Australia and The Fund for Animals.
He also published Simply Living magazine. After his parliamentary term expired in 2003
he resumed painting, in acrylics, and producing ceramics. Acrylics on Canvas 83 x 83 cms
