Richard Jones "Cosmic Constellation" #3

Richard started painting with oils in 1965 but let it lapse as he became more involved in publishing and then politics. He was a Member of the NSW Legislative Council for fifteen years as a Democrat and then an Independent. Concern for the environment propelled him into politics and into founding Greenpeace Australia and The Fund for Animals. <br data-mce-fragment="1">He also published Simply Living magazine. After his parliamentary term expired in 2003 <br data-mce-fragment="1">he resumed painting, in acrylics, and producing ceramics. Acrylics on Canvas 83 x 83 cms
