Ninbella hosts a superb collection of award-winning, contemporary art.
Specialising in ethical and fair trade Authentic Australian First Nation's Aboriginal Art from the Western and Central Desert regions of Australia, the gallery is also home to a collection of alternative local artists, mid-century Italian designer chandeliers, and cultural ethical giftware. Ninbella works with fair trade organisations as well wholly owned Aboriginal community art centres and artists from the Central Australian Desert and Arnhem Land, including, Yirrkala, Tjanpi, Ampilatwatja and Yuendumu. We represent highly sought-after world class works by accomplished and award-winning artists, indigenous and non-indigenous, Emily Kngwarreye, Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, Makinti Napanangka, Willy Tjungurrayi, Naata Nungurrayi, Kurun Warun, Gabriella and Michelle Possum Nungurrayi. We exhibit local artists like Lae Oldmeadow, an extraordinarily talented genius who creates artwork | sculptures | organic forms absolutely unique in our modern world, and much loved and well collected local artists Hilary Herrmann, Vlad Kolas and Beryl Miles. Ninbella is proud to be a portal for young local talented emerging First Nation artists: Mel Ladkin and the young boys from the "Toys Change Lives" project. Ninbella is a member of the Fair-Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand.
