Otis Hope Carey lives and works in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales on Bundjalung country and is a proud Gumbaynggirr / Bundjalung man. Carey has dedicated his practice to the spiritual totemic identity of the Gumbaynggirr people called Gaagal (Ocean).
