Kurun Warun and Walu "Desert Rain"

KURUN WARUN was born in Australia in 1966. He is a member of the indigenous Gunditjmara people and is a descendant of the Truganini family line. Kurun Warun whose name means 'Hissing Swan' lives in the Noosa hinterland in South East Queensland. He is very well known for his exceptionally unique art and his huge talent as a didgeridoo musician. He expresses his culture through art and music and has won international acclaim and recognition in both these fields. This piece has been painted with his Son, Walu 91 x 45 cms Acrylics on Canvas
