Gabriella Kennard

Gabriella Kennard (O.A.M.) Gaby did her formal art studies at the National Art School in Sydney, majoring in painting. She graduated with Honours as a mature student in 2014.
As a helicopter pilot she flew and camped in the remotest and wildest places in beautiful Australia. “I felt absolutely privileged” she said. Her work “The Wall” was painted after visiting Mount Borradaile, East Arnhem Land. “The rock walls and caves at the base of Mount Borradaile, touched my soul and were the inspiration for this artwork. The process has stimulated my memories of the place, a place of silence and timelessness”.
