Kipan Rothbury "Flying High"

Kipan (Bachkine) Rothbury, is an award winning actor, writer and director, turned artist born in Sydney, Australia. Kipan first picked up a paint brush in 2021 after travelling with artists through Estonia, and has since then, continued to paint. After 20 years in the film industry, Kipan now works as a full time artist out of his studio in Bangalow. He spent a recent couple of years working as an environmental spokesperson, while studying environmental science and became dedicated to the protection of the environment through the medium of film. With a strong connection to the land and country, Kipan has spent much of his life travelling and working to support environmental awareness.
