Tanith Kershaw "Catch"

Tanith is inspired by a love of history and ancient historical sites, myths, legends and architecture, she admires artists such as Jean Dubuffet and Georges Braque , likes working in acrylics and oils giving depth of colours and huge amounts of texture, she likes to think of her " Lost Empires" series as trying to "recreate a puzzle that doesn't quite make sense"
Tanith is a local artist who grew up in the beautiful south west of England, and at a very young age found she had a passion for art, sitting in her little back garden, next to the apple tree, a box to lean on, and three colours of paint (that she got from her fathers shed) her need to explore all things beautiful grew and grew, and years later after moving to Australia she now has an absolute desire to create wonderful eclectic uplifting artworks of colour and movement.
