From a young age, Tamsin decided the most vital pursuit in life is the attainment of knowledge and character. She also knew there is only one conduit through which these can be gained - diverse and challenging experience. Born to Australian and English parents, Tamsin grew up between Cottesloe, WA and the South East of England. She moved to London at 17, to Los Angeles at 19 and has been moving and exploring ever since. A Grade A art student at school, Tamsin always knew one day she’d settle down and focus exclusively on art, but she had a lot of living to do first. She has worked in various capacities in several of the arts arenas including music, fashion, film, journalism and the fine art world of London, along with many others. After a long stint of living in the UK, Tamsin returned to reside permanently in Byron Bay in 2019. Now a full-time artist and a person who, as she says, “is interested in absolutely everything that is interesting’, her inspiration comes from her myriad adventures and experiences over the years, her principal interest in human nature and the beautiful Hinterland landscape she now calls home.
