"Hibiscus on the river series" Jen’s artistic journey has been shaped by her background working as a hair and makeup artist in the television and entertainment industry as well as her deep love of colour and textile design. These influences have provided an invaluable foundation to cultivate her own art practice in parallel. After studying textile design in Sydney and attending printing workshops in India, Jen’s perspective has been shaped by years of behind-the-scenes experience and continues to be apparent through her aesthetic sensibilities within her practice. Jen’s creative path is deeply intertwined with her decades-long meditation practice, which she began in her mid-thirties.
