Gloria is a proud Kamilaroi woman. She grew up in the small North-Western N.S.W town of Goodooga. 161 x 100 cms Acrylics on Canvas. A timeless, expansive landscape. Ancient campsites linked together, externally, and intrinsically through the song lines, the stories of the elders and the traditional pathways of “The Dreaming”. The well-worn hills, valleys and waterways crafted through time by the endless actions of wind, water and fire, stretch across a timeless land. Within this dynamic landscape the communities endure and even thrive in a constant act of balance with the natural forces that assail them daily/eternally.
